My story

I’m Shannon — Kansas-based Catholic filmmaker, graphic designer, and most importantly MOM.

My journey into filming began with my own family. I started noticing how quickly days turn into years, and how the tiny, beautiful moments — the sleepy newborn yawns, the laughing fits between siblings, the chaos of bedtime routines — are the ones that mean the most. Capturing those magically mundane moments for my family is what led me to create keepsake films for other families. They’re only little once, but your film can be savored for years.

FAQs

What’s your shooting & editing style?

I bring a documentary-style approach and a quiet presence into every session. I prefer being a fly-on-the-wall capturing life as it happens, but also provide direction family/lifestyle shoots. I don’t follow trendy cuts or effects that will feel dated in a few years. Instead, I focus on a timeless style that ensures your film will feel just as meaningful in 30 years as it does today.

Why do you film on iPhone?

Two big reasons: because it allows me to be part of the moment with you, rather than hidden behind bulky equipment, AND it helps keep my films accessible and affordable without compromising quality. This approach keeps everything natural, authentic, and fun, while still delivering a polished keepsake film.

But the iPhone is just the beginning. Every film is carefully edited, color-corrected, and refined with intention to ensure you end up with a custom keepsake, not simply raw footage.

How will I receive my video?

Every video will be delivered as a dedicated link AND an mp4 file for your personal use. No physical products are delivered.

  2. Click the Upload button (the “+” icon).

  3. Select your video file and upload it (you can choose to keep it Unlisted if you only want to share it with friends and family — personally, I choose Unlisted for my family videos).

  4. Enter the music license code in the video’s description (I’ll provide this when I send your video file).

  5. Once it’s uploaded, open the YouTube app on your smart TV.

  6. Sign in to the same account, then go to Library → Your Videos to watch it on the big screen.
